I had just decided that about once a week, I was going to do a post on some of my favorite bloggers.

I had every intention of starting out with one of my friends and would save the “pros” for a later date.

However, I just went to http://www.dooce.com/ and read the following:

Seriously? I snorted water all over my computer screen and then had to spend the next 5 minutes explaining to my co-workers what I was laughing at. They didn’t get it but I sure did.

I’ve been reading this blog for over a year now and I’ve seen pics of her kid and the dogs. I could just “see” this scenario in my head.

That’s how great of a writer Heather is. She is amazing. Her photos are even better. Her photos are what I aspire to. Her story about how she came to be what she is today is just amazing. You really have to go back to the beginning to get a sense of her. I promise you, it’s worth it.

Her sense of humor cannot be matched.

I totally have nothing in common with her but something about her writing just strikes a chord in me.

Anyway, if you ever get the chance, check out her site. She’s definitely one of a kind.
