"Defying Gravity" by Freddy

I told you guys about this artist last week.

He's finally put out his first single to purchase. You can go to http://www.kiddlive.com/ to download the song for only 99 cents.

He's already gotten tons of buys, so much so, that the server crashed once already but is back up and running.

Run, don't walk, to go buy this single. He'll be coming out with more pretty soon.

In case you don't know the story, I'll give it to you in a nut shell.

Freddy got a recording contract a while ago. He quit school, left his family and moved to L.A. to pursue the record. While out there and in the middle of the album, his company merged with another company and they dropped him via voice mail.

Freddy had to go back home and lick his wounds. He went back to school, is making straight A's and got back to doing his music. He had over 2 million hits on myspace when Kidd Kraddick "found" him. He had a proposition for him. He asked him to come to Dallas and play concerts along the way. It was a Freddy Needs Gas tour. He received enough donations along the way to finance his trip to Dallas. This all happened in a WEEK. He made it to Dallas and once there, it was discovered that he was once again offered a recording contract (maybe several), I don't know. Anyway, HE TURNED them down! He's decided to put out the album with the help of his fans and listeners of Kidd Kraddick.

He's already got about 4 songs that have already been written (Defying Gravity is one of them) but he's needing to do several more to make up a full album. He's taking ideas from the fans and listeners. They get to help write the songs, come up with the title, do the album cover, etc.....

He's already taken an idea from one listener and turned it into a song that's not too bad.

His name is Freddy and well, he's simply amazing.

I don't go into his whole story, but suffice to say, he did have a recording contract at one point but got dropped from the label in a VOICEMAIL when his recording company merged with another.
