Breakable

Wow.

That’s a long way down.

I mean, a really long way down.

I hope no one bumps me.

I’m bottom heavy, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Still…..it’s a long way down.

I’ve never been thisclose to the edge before.

It’s scary.

I’m breakable, you know.

In so many ways.

I could break into a million pieces.

I’m THAT fragile.

Yet…I’m strong.

I have to be.

In order to do what I do, I have to be.

I have to hold a lot in.

If I fall and break, things could get messy.

Someone could get hurt.

I hope no one bumps me.

It’s a long way down.

Well done!! I could see it being a glass or a person, kind of ambiguous. I am not, repeat NOT calling anyone heavy bottomed!!
Although I resemble that description.

Lula!

This needs to be a song...with some really good accoustic guitar strumming. I love it!

Lacey in the Sky

I agree that is sounds like a song!!! I found myself coming up with a tune while I was reading it!

I LOVE it! I thought about doing it in poetry style AND tried to leave what I was to the imagination too. Great minds think alike. :)

Sometimes Sophia

Lyrical. Should be a song with a chorus:

Have to be - have to bee-e-e-e-e-
So close to the edge...
It's a long way down...
Set me free - set me free-e-e-e-...

C'mon, don't leave us hanging.

Momo Fali

Love this! There is a local news anchor who gives riddles similar to this on her afternoon show. They suck me in and drive me crazy half the time!

Ashley

I almost feel sorry for the glass.
