Mindless Junque

I totally forgot that I promised the Internets that I'd write about a blog once a week.

Anyway, here it is for this week.

Mindless Junque

Just the name conjures up a total mish mash of topics.

And you'd be right.

But, in a good way.

I love this blog. I really, really like the woman that writes it.

It's like we're the same exact person. Down to every detail. We could be twins or soul sisters. It was fate that we meet (online).

I joke. I kid. I don't really believe any of that.

However, I do have a lot in common with her. Well, mostly surface stuff, but still. It's more than I have in common with most bloggers out there.

She is a crafter after my own heart.

I love to fix up "old" stuff that I find and she can do some creative things with the stuff she finds.

She's a mommy blogger but not in that obsessive way that some have about writing about NOTHING but their kids and what they ate and what their poop looked like and what their temperature is on any given day.

She actually writes about other stuff, too. Stuff I like to read about.

She's currently writing the story about how she and her husband met. At least, I'm assuming it's their story. It could be fiction. If so, it's a hell of a story. It's the reason these days I click on her link.

Her and Mrs. R turned me on to the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer.

I love her writing style and the fact that she takes this blogging thing seriously. So seriously, in fact, she and Mrs. R created a whole new blog to highlight bloggers out there. SITS. Check it out as well.

Anyway, if you get a chance, go check her out and give her a shout out!

I love Heather too. And I'm a little jealous of her wonderful friendship with Tiffany. I want them each for my own. But I'm selfish like that. :)

ps I only posted that picture because Jared said he couldn't compete with Target...I had to show him that he certainly could. Our wedding plans are still on.

And yeah, he saw it and told me to I was queen leader of his groupie following. Just kidding. He said he about lost a mouthful of water when he saw the picture. Sigh. That's my Jare-Jare.

Mama Dawg

LOL! You're too funny.

Insane Mama

I love love love Heather too
She is so gifted

~Sheila~

Heather IS pretty great. I actually went online to half.com to purchase them.
Dom got ahold of them first and is on the 3rd book. I haven't even had a chance to crack open the first myself yet.

Mom2FiveBratz

I could write a story about my husband too, about how when I met him he was a mexican guy with no taste in dressing up (he had a nice car though)...and I changed him into the redneck he is today, complete with the soutern accent.

AFRo

I just found Heather about a month ago... right before the SITS launch. But, I am drooling over her next installments of the story she's telling. It hooked me from the beginning.

Heather

Shoot, y'all. I'm so flattered and yes, Mama Dawg and I are peas in a pod. This was such a nice post. Thank you SO much for featuring me!!

Mommy Mo

Hey, I write about more than my own kids' poop. I write about my own poop too. It doesn't get much bettr, or intimate, than that!

Have been on vacation for the last week, but I"M BACK!!!!

Mama Dawg

IM-Yeah, Heather's cool.

Sheila-You will LOVE these books. I finally finished them and am going crazy waiting for the 4th to come out.

Mom2five-I'd love to hear that story!

Afro-Heather started commenting on my blog about a month before SITS was started and that's how I "discovered" her.

Heather-You're welcome!

Lisa-Yes, you write about more than poop. That's why I keep coming back to your blog as well! So glad you're back!

Tip Junkie

You must be completely fabulous just like Heather, then. ;) I love how driven she is and fun.

Mama Dawg
