Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap.....

....that's the sound you would hear if I was wearing heels and the floor wasn't carpeted. My leg is just tapping along 90 miles a minute.

I feel like jumping out of my own skin.

I hate this feeling. It's not an anxious feeling. It's a feeling that can only disappear by me turning off my computer and going home.

Maybe if I tap my heels together (instead of on the floor) 3 times and say "there's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home", I can magically find myself at home sitting outside on the swing or up on the hill doing some yard work or sitting on the porch picking my nose.

Anything's better than being at work on a Friday while it's GORGEOUS outside. I hate being cooped up. Why can't I find a job where I work outside? Ugghhh.....TGIF.

I need a beer or a shot of tequila or both.

Man I know that feeling-- a job outside is probably best for the soul, but I know I might not feel that way when the weather ISN'T so gorgeous.

But still, there's nothing like fluorescent office lights and white walls to make you feel like you're wasting your life, no matter what you're doing.

My assistant came waltzing in the door in the best mood today. I told her I was already irritated because all three of my kids were up WAY to early this morning. When I took the kiddos for a walk in this beautiful sunshine my mood improved dramatically!! I am so thankful that I have the choice to go outside when I feel the urge.

Sucks to be you.

I know. But I try to make up for it by rolling down my window on my 50 minute commute home while blasting my 90's hip hop cd at full volume! ;)
